Every year the Friends work diligently with the staff at McCormick’s Creek State Park to host annual events that people have come to know and love. The Friends contribute by providing volunteers, financial assistance, and planning. Click on the events to the right to learn more.
First Day Hike

There are many ways for a Friend to get involved with this event. You can hike, participate in the photography contest, or volunteer to help with providing post hike snacks or visitor information.

The Friends are hosting our second quilt show this December. In 2024, quilters from across the state were invited to create a quilt and have them displayed at the show. We are looking forward to this event again this year.
